Lesley K. Gagnon
Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Student & Employee Health Programs

Ms. Gagnon has over twenty-five years of experience in the insurance industry with a variety of experience in student and employee benefits. Her depth of experience within the insurance industry makes her uniquely qualified to review and manage insurance plans on behalf of businesses and educational institutions.

Ms. Gagnon received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She began her insurance carrier in 1979 in Chicago and since then has worked with a variety of clients, from small business to Fortune 500 clients. She continued in the group health industry over the next fourteen years gaining experience in marketing, training and product development for CIGNA and Prudential.

She then managed a four million dollar block of higher education insurance as director of a national student insurance program in Kansas City. The program provided international, domestic and study abroad insurance to more than two hundred colleges, community colleges and universities across the nation.

Ms. Gagnon joined Summit America in 2005 to provide broker and consulting services for employers and educational institutions. Her goal at Summit America is to provide risk management solutions for student and employee health benefit programs. Ms. Gagnon is a member of NAFSA and has participated as a speaker on insurance and risk management issues at regional NAFSA conferences. She is an active supporter of the Shawnee Mission Kansas School District marketing education program and past board member of the Kansas City Employee Benefits Professional Association.
